This reason in particular should be of great concern to you if any of your family members have respiratory problems or suffer from asthma because dust mite allergens are proven to be one of the biggest causes of these diseases.
What Is Carpet Steam Cleaning?

This process is actually hot water extraction but more commonly known within the industry as steam cleaning. Our machines inject clean hot water through your carpets with great pressure while simultaneously the extremely powerfull dual vacuum system extracts the broken down dirt and grime. Because the extraction takes effect almost immediately your carpets don’t become saturated and are generally dry within 2-3 hours improving there overall feel and appearance. Our cleaning products and professional workmanship will leave your carpets conditioned and smelling extremely fresh!
Our Carpet Steam Cleaning Process

Stage 1: Pre – Inspection

During this initial stage we will communicate with you and examine any problem areas that you maybe aware of. If their are any carpet stains that are of concern we will pre-treat them now.

Stage 2: Vacuum

If your carpets need vacuuming we will do this to remove any lose dirt before we continue.

Stage 3: Prespray

Now we will apply our biodegradable prespray shampoo, the purpose of this is to break down soils and dirt that have become embedded in your carpet fibres. this will be left to work for approx 10 minutes.

Stage 4: Agitation

In certain places such as walkways where your carpets are extremely stubborn and dirty they will need a little extra work, we will use agitation methods where necessary to help the steam cleaner remove as much of this heavy dirt as possible.

Stage 5: Steam Clean

Our top of the range powerful dual vacuum steam cleaning machine is now used to flush clean water through the carpet while simultaneously extracting the dirt and grime as explained above. Carpet conditioner and deoderisor is added to the solution tank leaving your carpets in their best possible condition.

Stage 6: Stain Removal

Our advanced formula stain removers are used to remove any difficult stains that don’t come out during the previous procedures. If they don’t come out with this advanced process there is a good chance the stains might have become permanent.

Steam Cleaning Vs Dry Cleaning

Carpet steam cleaning is a deep clean process which will extract the dirt from deep down within your fibres so that your carpets will last longer and save you money, it is the recommended method for very dirty carpets.

Dry carpet cleaning is also a very effective method and leaves your carpets looking great but doesn’t give such a deep clean. It is generally a preferred method for carpets that aren’t overly dirty or for resorts with arriving guests as it will be dry within 30 – 60 minutes. Even if your carpets are in good condition we still suggest after every 2 dry cleans you should then get it steam cleaned. Take a look at our dry carpet cleaning page to find out more!

What Happens To Carpets That Aren’t Steam Cleaned?

Your carpets suffer their primary damage down deep at the base of the pile where it’s not visible, so although it might look clean it will also be shortening the life of your carpet and costing you money if it isn’t correctly maintained. Here is what happens:

Whenever you walk over your carpets especially if coming straight from outdoors you will be transferring soils, grit and sand from your feet. Almost immediately this dirt embeds itself  into your carpet pile. Over a period of time the amount  of debris increases and builds up small piles which regular carpet cleaning with a vacuum cleaner won’t remove. Sand is the worst culprit for causing worn carpet, it’s like having broken glass grounded into it. As the carpet gets walked on more and more this sand starts to cut away at the bottom of your carpet pile eventually leaving worn or bald patches. Having your carpets cleaned using our carpet steam cleaning method once a year (more regular with heavy foot traffic) will help prevent this from happening and prolong the life of your carpets…Saving You Money!
